Prince George's Community College kicks off their 2019 home opener against the visiting Northern Virginia (NOVA) Nighthawks tomorrow (Thursday, August 29th).
The Owls (1-0, 1-0) are fresh off a strong performance which ended in a 10-0 win against division opponent Allegany. NOVA (1-0) won their first match of the season against Hagerstown with a final score of 3-2 on Saturday August 24th. The Owls will look to quickly turnaround and continue their hot start to the season on their home field against another division opponent.
The last time the two teams met was October 13th, 2018 where the match ended in a 2-2 tie after 2 periods of extra time.
The match is set to begin at 3 p.m. at Prince George's Bermuda field in Largo, MD. Due to baseball field construction, visitors must park in Lot G and walk down to the soccer field. See attached campus map for further detail.
