Prince George’s to Face Conference Leader Frederick on The Road

Prince George's men's soccer will travel to face Frederick Community College tomorrow, September 25th. The matchup has heavy conference implications as the Cougars (7-1-0, 6-0-0) are currently ranked first overall in Maryland JUCO play while the Owls (6-0-1, 5-0-1) are ranked third overall in conference play.

The Owls are fresh off of a thrilling overtime win over The College of Southern Maryland in which sophomore Temilolu Idowu scored two penalty kick goals in the second half to force overtime. Fellow sophomore Brandon Betts secured the victory for the Owls with a well-placed shot from outside the box in the first 5 minutes of overtime to give the Owls a 3-2 win.

The Cougars suffered their first loss of the season this past Saturday, September 21st against Harcum College with a final score of 4-1. The Owls will look to remain undefeated when they take on the Cougars. Kickoff is set to begin at 4:30 PM.
