No. 9 Prince George’s Men’s Soccer Closes Out Season At Home Against Rival Anne Arundel

Prince George's men's soccer returns home to face Anne Arundel Community College on Tuesday, October 22nd for their last regular season game of the 2019-20 season. This will be the Owls first game in a week who last fell to Montgomery County College 1-0 on the road.

The Owls (9-3-1, 7-3-1) are looking to reach double digit wins for the first time since the 2017-18 season. Prince George's is currently tied for 9th place among the NJCAA Division III men's soccer rankings with Onondaga (NY) and Roxbury (MA). The Owls remain the only college in Maryland that has received votes in the rankings since the start of the season. The Riverhawks (8-5-1, 5-5-1) last contest ended in a 2-1 home win over conference opponent Harford on Tuesday, October 15th. Prince George's last faced Anne Arundel in October of 2018 when the Owls traveled to Arnold, MD and defeated the Riverhawks 2-0.

The Owls will look to take down Anne Arundel to close out the season before heading into the Region XX Division III Tournament which will take place on Anne Arundel's campus in Seigert Stadium. The result of tomorrow's game will help determine the seeding of the tournament. Kickoff is scheduled to begin at 5:00 p.m.
