Prince George's Men's Soccer Falls 2-1 At Frederick

FREDERICK, Md. – Prince George's Community College dropped a 2-1 decision to Frederick Community College in Maryland Junior College Athletic Conference (MD JUCO) men's soccer action on Monday. The loss ends a five-game winning streak while the team has won six of its last eight matches.

David Olabisi (District Heights, Md./DuVal) made it a one-goal game when he knocked in a loose ball with 1:56 remaining to cut the margin to 2-1. It was the sophomore's third goal of the season and first since posting a pair of tallies against Cumberland County College on September 22.

Aboubacarr Sinera (Lanham, Md./Parkdale) made six saves in the loss.

The Cougars scored a goal in each half while the Owls had a couple of chances that if it was not for the athleticism of the Frederick netminder the Largo program would have gotten on the scoreboard.

Moh Sherif (Capital Heights, Md./Central) had a chance in the 43rd minute that took a diving save to prevent a Prince George's tally. Roban Boima (Hyattsville, Md./DuVal) had the only shot on goal besides Olabisi's score in the final frame and it was another nice save from the Cougars goalkeeper in the 79th minutes to keep the Owls off the scoreboard.

Prince George's continues a busy week of four games in six days at home against CCBC Essex on Wednesday. Match time is 6 p.m.
