Prince George's C.C Defeats Howard C.C

Largo, Md. - Freshmen Angelo Ridore and Urich Ndip scored a goal each to push the Owls men's soccer team past Howard C.C on Tuesday night.

The Owls got off to a quick start by controlling possession in the midfield and taking the first meaningful shots on goal. Although the Dragons seemed to be a worthy opponent, the Owls men took the lead midway through the first half from a calm finish by Ridore. Issa Mouafo was credited with the assist and the Owls were off and running with the 1-0 lead to enter the half.

The second half started much like the first, with the Owls dominating most of the possession and shots on target. Again, the Owls were able to score their second of the game midway through the second half. Kelly Murah was credited with the assist on Ndip's goal from about 25 yards out. This goal seemed to have settled the home team even more, as they were able to see out the game with a comfortable 2-0 victory.

Richard Lewis III made three saves on the night to preserve the win. This was his fourth shutout of the season.

The Owls men will be in action again on Friday, October 2 when they travel to face Chesapeake Community College at 4:00 PM.
