Owls suffer another defeat

By Machel Millwood

Men's soccer suffered another defeat on the road to Harford Community College this past Monday by a score of 4-1. George Afakpe was able to score the lone goal for the Owls from a Mecardo Knight pass in the second half. However, this attempt to mount a comeback after going down by two goals midway in the first half was short lived as Harford was able to score two goals in quick succession to put the game away.

This loss pushed the Owls two games below the .500 mark with only four games remaining. The Owls will have an advantage in these games as three of the four are on home soil and are all conference games. If the Owls are able to win all four games this will put them in second place behind current leading and defending conference champions Montgomery College.

The Owls next game will be against Northern Virginia Community College on Friday, October 17. Kickoff is set for 6:00 PM.
