  • Prince George's defeated CCBC Dundalk 78-67 on Nov. 20 to improve to 5-1 on the year.
  • Freshman Tunde Scrivner posted a team high in points for the second-straight game and has registered double figures in all six games thanks to his 18-point effort on Tuesday night. Scrivner connected on 6-for-13 from the field, 3 of 8 from behind the arc and 3 of 6 from the free throw line to finish with 18 points to go along with five rebounds and four assists against the Lions. Coming off a career-high 31 points against SUNY Sullivan on Sunday, the freshman has scored at least 15 points in a tilt in four of the six games this season. Scrivner ranks second on the team with 17.5 points per game.
  • Sophomore Alex Morales added 17 points, six rebounds, three assists, a steal and a block. Just like Scrivner, Morales has reached double figures in all six games including posting at least 17 points in five of the six contests this season. Morales has also hauled in five rebounds in all six games this year and fuels the squad with 19.0 points and 10.5 rebounds per game.
  • Freshman Miles Weaver posted a career-high 13 points while sophomore Jalen Robinson chipped in 11 points off the bench. Weaver reached double figures for the first time since November 10 and for the fourth time this season. The freshman has reached double figures each time he swishes at least two baskets from behind the arc. Weaver ranks third on the team with 9.2 points per game. Robinson notched his first career double-figure performance in an Owls uniform on the night.
  • Sophomore Dexter Turner dished out 10 assists for the third time this season in the winning effort. The sophomore has handed out at least eight assists in a game four times this season at least five dimes five times. He is averaging 7.7 points and 7.5 assists per game while handing out 45 assists through the first six contests.
THE ROAD AHEAD
 
  • Prince George's continues its five-game homestand against Northern Virginia Community College on Dec. 4. 
  • Westmoreland County Community College (Dec. 8), Frederick Community College (Dec. 12) and Butler County Community College (Dec. 14) will come to town during a five-game homestand after Thanksgiving.
  • Prince George's Athletics will be holding a Toy Drive during its games on against Westmoreland County, Frederick and Butler County. It will also hold an Ugly Sweater Contest during the doubleheader against Butler County.
  • The Owls will then travel to Western Pennsylvania to face CCAC Boyce (Dec. 18) and CCAC Allegheny (Dec. 19) to close out the year 2018.
  • The Largo team will play 11 of its final 17 regular games at Novak Field House in the regular season. Prince George's will also host the region tournament.
