The Owls trailed 48-28 with 16:32 left and still were down to the Lions by 15 with 12:04 on the clock. The Largo team started to pressure the Lions full court and the Owls pounced with a 33-11 run in the final 12 minutes of the tilt to earn the victory and keep in MD JUCO Tournament hopes alive. Beale took over final 3:07 of the game by scoring 10 of Prince George's final 12 points in the waning minutes including back-to-back layups to give the Owls the lead for the first time and one they would not relinquish. The freshman broke through the Lions to intercept a pass on the Prince George's offensive end and converted a layup with 2:24 remaining to cut the margin to 65-64 and then scored in the lane off a CCBC Dundalk turnover to give the host the lead for good at 1:23. Beale shot 5 of 6 from the floor and a perfect 8-for-8 from the charity stripe to notch 18 points or more for the third time in the last four games and has posted double figures in four-straight games and seven times this season.
