Largo, MD. – Men's basketball 6 game win streak came to an end on January 27, 2016, after facing off against Cecil College. It was a good effort by the Owls men who had the 44-39 lead going into the half. This made for a great second half, as there were multiple lead changes and the score tied at 76 apiece with under five minutes to play. However, Cecil was able to withstand the Owls momentum and eventually had enough offensive fire power to take lead and secure the win by a score of 94-83.
Freshman Guard Augustus Stone was top scorer for the Owls with 23 points and 6 boards. Patrick Johnson-Agwu and Ochae Bynum also chipped in with 20 points 9 rebound and 11 points 1 rebound respectively.
