Men's Basketball Reach .500 Mark

The Owls men's basketball team has picked up momentum over the past week, winning their last three out of four games. This should be a great boost for the team after having a slow start to the season.

The team earned their first home win of the season in commanding fashion against Westmoreland on November 21, before dropping the next contest on the road to Frederick by a 95-100 score line. The team later traveled to North Carolina over the Thanksgiving break to battle Erie community College and Community College of Beaver County. In both games the team made timely defensive plays down the stretch to earn wins, beating Erie 90-81 and edging Beaver 66-62. Sophomores Patrick Johnson-Agwu, Lavonte Sanders and freshman Donnell Graham have been huge for the Owls over the stretch and will look to continue their impressive play in the month of December.

Currently, the team is at the .500 mark and will look to extend their win streak against conference rivals Howard Community College on Wednesday, December 2, 2015. Tipoff for this contest is set for 7:00 PM.
