VOTE NOW For The Owl Four - Voting Ends On Tuesday At 4 P.M.

Welcome to the 2016-17 Prince George's Athletics Top Moments Bracket. We have moved onto the semifinals and The Owl Four. It comes down to two moments from both men's basketball and baseball and we could have an all men's basketball or all baseball Battle for the Top Perch depending on YOUR VOTES. For the next two days, fans can vote on the bracket-style polls below with the winners moving onto the Battle for the Top Perch Wednesday-Friday. Fans can also vote on Facebook by typing their choices in the comment box or via Twitter by tweeting your selections with the hashtag #owltopmoments4 to @PGCCOWLS. Voting for The Owl Four ends at 4 p.m. on Tuesday.

#4 Brandon Crosby leads nation in steals, earns NJCAA First-Team All-American honors vs. #9 Alex Morales Named NJCAA Division III Honorable Mention All-American

#4 Brandon Crosby leads nation in steals and earns NJCAA First-Team All-American status
Crosby paced the team in hits (81), runs (71), stolen bases (45), batting average (.440) and on-base percentage (.527). He ranked third on the squad in RBIs (49), third in doubles (17), third in triples (2) and fourth in slugging percentage (.620). The freshman paced NJCAA Division III in steals and ranked fourth in stolen bases for all NJCAA divisions while also ranking eighth in Division III in runs.

#9 Alex Morales named NJCAA Division III Honorable Mention All-American
Morales ranked second on the team with 13.8 points and a team-best 9.9 rebounds per game and shot 46.9 percent from the field. The Patterson, N.J., native averaged 19.7 points and 11.3 rebounds per game in the Maryland JUCO Tournament, including registering 22 points and 11 rebounds in an 81-71 victory against Garrett Community College in the quarterfinals on Feb. 17 and 20 points and 17 rebounds against Baltimore City in the title bout. Morales posted double figures in points 18 times this season, including five 20-point performances.

#2 Baseball Goes to the World Series
Prince George's returned to the NJCAA Division III World Series for the second time in four years after winning both the NJCAA Division III Region XX Tournament and the NJCAA Division III District D Championship. The Owls defeated Butler County 6-5 and Montgomery 8-7 and 6-5 to win the region title and then took two of three from Surry to earn a trip to the World Series. Prince George's lost to eventual national champion Tyler and Delta at the World Series.

#3 Men's Basketball wins Maryland JUCO Tournament
The Maryland JUCO is comprised of NJCAA Division I, II and III programs in the Old Line State with Prince George's currently sitting in the Division III ranks. The Owls opened the tournament with an 81-71 win against Garrett. The squad then squeaked out a 70-68 win against Harford in the semifinals with the decisive points coming in the final minute of the game. Facing its second-straight NJCAA Division I opponent in the championship game, Prince George's defeated Baltimore City 63-62 thanks to a basket with six seconds left.
