LARGO, Md. – Bay To (Philadelphia, Pa./Neumann) collected seven hits, seven runs scored and five RBIs to help No. 9 Prince George's Community College earn a doubleheader split with Allegany College of Maryland in Maryland Junior College Athletic Conference (MD JUCO) baseball action on Sunday. The Trojans won the opener in their last at-bat 4-3 before the Owls came back to take game two, 17-2.

In the nightcap, To posted a perfect performance at the plate, going 5-for-5 with a homer, a double and three singles. Brandon Crosby (Richmond, Va./Atlee, Mechanicsville) registered three hits, five runs scored, three stolen bases and an RBI in the nightcap.

Michael Hovermill, Jr. (Poughkeepsie, N.Y./Spackenkill) got the win in the second game after allowing two runs (one earned) on five hits with six strikeouts and two walks in a seven-inning complete game to earn his fifth win of the year. For the week, the freshman pitched 10 innings with 10 strikeouts and earned a pair of victories.

After Allegany of Maryland snapped the Owls five-game winning streak in the opener, Prince George's erupted for 17 runs en route to a 17-2 victory in the nightcap.

The Owls got the scoring started in the first inning when Crosby, To and Siri-Jacob Ramirez (Orlando, Fla./Cenapec [Dominican Republic]) each touched home for a 3-0 lead.

Sparked by a two-run homer by Naquan Holden (Brooklyn, N.Y./Perkiomen), Prince George's posted four runs in the second to increase its advantage to 7-0. Quentin Rohrbaugh (Largo, Md./Sherando [Va.]) came home on the Holden two-run bomb while Crosby and To also crossed the plate in the four-run stanza.

To smacked his second homer of the afternoon and fifth of the season in the fourth to bring home Crosby and extend the margin to nine runs.

The Trojans got those two runs back in the bottom of the fourth to cut the margin to 9-2.

Crosby and To singled and doubled, respectively, in the sixth and scored on RBIs by Ramirez and McFadden for an 11-2 advantage.

A six-run seventh sealed the 17-2 victory. Marte had the big hit in the inning with the team's third round tripper of the game while Crosby, To, Ramirez, McFadden and Jared Davis (Largo, Md./Bayside [Va.]) also scored in the inning.

In the opener, the game was tied at three after the Largo program scored twice in the third before Allegany of Maryland did something that Prince George's has been doing the last couple of games and win the game on a walk-off hit, a homer, in the seventh to earn the 4-3 win and snap the Owls five-game winning streak.

To got the scoring started in the first game with a solo homer in the first inning to give Prince George's a 1-0 edge.

A two-run third by the Owls tied the game at 3. To singled and scored on McFadden's base hit while McFadden also crossed the plate in the frame.

Kevin Kornieck (Largo, Md./Woodbridge [Va.]) took the loss for Prince George's in the opener.

The Owls, who have won six of their last seven games and 13 of their last 17, return to action on Thursday when they conclude their three-game road trip at CCBC Catonsville. First pitch is 3:30 p.m.
