Prince George's Baseball Doubleheader Against Chesapeake Postponed; "Catch And Tip Day" Moved To April 29

LARGO, Md. – The Prince George's baseball home doubleheader against Chesapeake, originally scheduled for Saturday, April 22 at 12 p.m., has been postponed due to inclement weather. Makeup date and time to be announced.

In addition, "Catch And Tip Day" has been rescheduled for Saturday, April 29 for the Owls Region XX doubleheader against Westmoreland. Game time is 12 p.m. The Prince George's athletic department will sponsor a Chick-fil-a and commemorative Owls hat to honor the memory of legendary baseball coach William "Bumps" Vaughan giveaway for the first 100 fans.

Prince George's, who ranks No. 9 in the NJCAA Division III rankings, has won five-straight after defeating Anne Arundel 10-5 on Thursday and are 12-3 in its last 15 games.

The Owls are slated to start a three-game road trip on Sunday at Allegany College of Maryland. Game time is 12 p.m.
