ARNOLD, Md. - Michael Hovermill, Jr. (Poughkeepsie, N.Y./Spackenkil) pitched a complete-game gem to propel Prince George's Community College past Anne Arundel Community College 7-1 in Maryland Junior College Athletic Conference (MD JUCO) baseball action on Tuesday.

The Riverhawks (8-11, 4-2 MD JUCO) were 1-for-9 with runners in scoring position and twice Anne Arundel had runners in scoring position with no outs and the freshman got out of both innings unscathed.

Dwayne Coleman (Lothian, Md./Southern) singled with one out in the first and moved to second when To walked before McFadden brought Coleman home on an RBI single to right center for a 1-0 lead.

Prince George's added a run in the fifth to incease the advantage to two runs. Crosby started the stanza with a single to center and moved to second on a wild pitch. After Coleman walked, To singled through the left side to score Crosby for a 2-0 edge.

A three-run sixth inning increased the Owls advantage to 5-0. Kilian Bloat (Liberty, N.Y./Liberty) walked and moved to third when Naquan Holden (Brooklyn, N.Y./Perkiomen) shot a single through the right side. Davis plated Bloat with an RBI single through the left side before Crosby brought home Holden and Davis on a two-run double to cap the three-run outburst.

The Riverhawks finally scratched a run across in the sixth to trim the margin to 6-1 when Anthony hit a run-scoring single to left field.
