Owls Split a Pair with the CSM Hawks

Largo, MD. - Owls lost a close one to College of Southern Maryland in the first game of the double header on Saturday, April 02, 2016 by a 4-3 score line. The Owls took the 3-1 lead in the 5th inning and maintained that lead until the top of the 7th inning. CSM Hawks player A. Bussler, was able to hit one out the park with runners on first and third base to take the lead and stun the Owls.

The second game of the double header saw the Owls putting on an offensive showcase outscoring the Hawks 15-5. The Owls were able to put up 15 runs in 4 innings while holding the Hawks to 5. Tre Terry, John Bonanca, and Kilian Bloat carried the team offensively. Corey Fields pitched all 5 innings and earned the win.

The Owls will be in action again on Sunday, April 3, 2015 in another conference double header battle versus Chesapeake. Game time is set for 12:00 PM.
