Largo, MD. – After dropping their last three games, the Owls were able to bounce back to beat Anne Arundel C.C RiverHawks in another Region XX DIII matchup. The Owls Edwin Lee and John Bonanca started the game fast at bat and helped the team put up four runs in the first two innings. The team added two more runs in the 4th inning with a hit through the gap by Hagstrom who had a solid day at bat overall.

It took the RiverHawks sixth innings to finally get on the score board with three runs to cut into the lead. The Owls were only able to respond with one run in the same inning to extend their lead to 7-3.

The last three innings saw the Owls holding a great defensive stand, holding the RiverHawks to no runs. Nicholas Rathke pitched all 9 innings and earned the win on the day.

The Owls next game will be on Saturday, April 2 at home to College of Southern Maryland. Game time is set for 12:00 PM.
