On January 25, the CCBC Men's basketball team took on Prince George's Community College, falling short 77-80.

Darrian Jones (St. Frances Academy) would also help, scoring 7 points in 2 minutes to being a deficit that just 5 minutes ago at 15 points was now down to 1 point. With 3 minutes to go, a layup from Keith Bullock (Cardozo High School) and a three-pointer from Jalen Yates (Baltimore City College) would see the Cardinals take the lead for the first time in the game. However, Prince George's would retake the lead with a minute to go, seeing the Cardinals valiant comeback attempt fall short in the end.
